Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment was looking to support the DVD and Blu-ray release of James Cameron's ground-breaking film AVATAR with ground-breaking digital marketing executions.

Fox enlisted the services of international creative agency ThinkJam to build never-done-before interactive units. Fox also chose Eyeblaster to provide innovative technology and ad serving capabilities that resulted in an elegant and extremely complex global digital marketing campaign.

The ads, which debuted on April 22nd simultaneously in 15 markets around the world allow viewers to zoom in or out of any frame, pause at any point and select hot spots without ever leaving the banner setting. By clicking on points of interest, consumers can access extended clips from the film and in-depth information about the world and inhabitants of Pandora.
